Clinician Webinar: “What About My Kids?” Help for Those Caring for Adult Oncology Patients

Adult oncology care providers often hear the question "What about my kids?" from patients who are also parents. Parenting patients struggle with where to begin, what to say, and how to say it at diagnosis, during treatment, and beyond.

So how can you, a patient's trusted care provider, provide support?

Research shows that having open, age-appropriate conversations with kids about their parent’s illness helps to decrease their worry, stress, and anxiety. These open conversations also promote their social-emotional wellbeing.

Register for this webinar to learn how to support and guide patients who are talking about cancer with their kids and to receive a free digital copy of our Pickles Family Support Kit. You'll learn from our Chief Clinical Program Officer, Kelsey Mora, LCPC, CCLS, expert in supporting families through illness.
