Chicago HONOR Community Dinner

November is National Children's Grief Awareness Month. Grief comes in all shapes and sizes and can be part of a family’s cancer experience regardless of outcomes. Pickles Group is hosting a family-friendly HONOR Event on Sunday, November 6th from 6-7:30 PM. This event will include a dinner, candle decorating, and meaningful community art activities. The purpose of the event is to honor both loved ones in our memory and those facing cancer diagnoses and treatment.

Due to limited space, we will be accepting registration to this event on a first come, first served basis. We encourage and welcome each family to invite 2 additional guests to extend their support system of family and friends. If we have additional space available closer to the date, we may be able to accommodate even more supportive guests for families.

Please note that all event times are in Central Time.

Location: Wilmette, North Shore Area (Register for Address and Details)

Event Type: In-Person Family Gathering

Who Can Attend: New and existing Pickles families navigating a parent or guardian’s cancer diagnosis. We serve kids ages 6-18.

COVID Information: Updated guidance will be provided to attendees based on public health recommendations.

Registration: New families: click here to register your children and then receive program details. Existing families will receive a separate event registration link.
