Pickles Group is collaborating with Fight CRC, Man Up To Cancer, and Colorectal Cancer Alliance to bring you a free live webinar and family panel focused on the unique experiences of navigating colorectal cancer while parenting.

Colorectal cancer is being diagnosed more often in adults under 50, meaning more parents are facing this illness while raising young children. These families often have unique questions about how to talk with kids, maintain routines, and cope emotionally together.

Telling kids about a parent or guardian’s colorectal cancer diagnosis can be hard, but research shows that open, age-appropriate conversations help reduce children’s worry and support their social-emotional wellbeing.

Our Chief Clinical Officer, Kelsey Mora, LCPC, CCLS, will share practical guidance on how to talk with kids about colorectal cancer, followed by a panel of parents and youth sharing their lived experience moderated by GI Oncologist, Dr. Shruti Patel.
